Information about the San Francisco Orchid Society

Interested in learning more about orchids and how to grow them?

The San Francisco Orchid Society meets the first Tuesday of each month in the auditorium of the County Fair Building (where the display area of the show is). Each meeting features a show and tell table (where members bring in their blooming plants), a skill session, a lecture on some aspect of orchids and their culture (or sometimes an interesting travelogue), followed by an opportunity table. Each meeting has light refreshments, coffee, tea and sometimes more! Every meeting is a mini-orchid show! The meetings start at 7 pm and visitors are welcome. Drop by our membership desk in the display area for more information and a membership invite card. You  don't need to be a member to come to a meeting! And you don't need a member invite card either, that is just so you know where and when the meeting is.
